80 stuck requests released, and automations that warn when they break.
- 21automation scenarios audited and documented
- 80requests unblocked
- 16days a queue sat invisible
The whole operation ran on automation: a form to take the job in, AI reading the order screenshot, Airtable as the record, Google Calendar for the reporters, Stripe for billing: twenty-one scenarios stitching it together. It worked, until one connection dropped for a moment and the scenario stopped. No alert. Requests piled into a queue nobody knew existed.
We audited all twenty-one scenarios and documented what depends on what. Reconnected the one that had failed, released the queue, and found the second problem only a full sweep could find: two forms in sequence competing for the same operations, burning the plan's quota on every job.
Eighty requests released, and for the first time a map of the operation (before, nobody could say what would stop if one thing broke). This is the case behind a line we now build into everything: an automation that breaks tells someone, or it is not finished.
- 01The queue released.Every request stuck behind the failed scenario, unblocked.
- 02A map of the operation. What depends on what, so the next failure has a known blast radius.
- 03A hidden cost found. Two forms competing for the same operations, caught before they broke anything.
