A clinic corridor with a person walking away, treatment rooms either side.

One calendar for five clinics, and money inside the system.

  • 5clinics on one calendar
  • 1,000+visits a month
  • 8,000+patients on record
  • 24months working together
01 · How it had always been done

One clinic became five. Each had its own calendar and its own way of charging. Reception could not tell whether another unit had a free slot without calling. Nobody could say how many patients did not show up, how full a room really was, or who had not paid: the money lived outside the system.

02 · What we changed

One system, on top of the three connections that matter: the five calendars became one; the bank's own API issues and reconciles payment inside it; reminders go out by SMS and email on their own. A dashboard per clinic with the three numbers that did not exist before, capacity, no-shows, revenue.

03 · What that made possible

Three tasks that were someone's job stopped being anyone's. Twenty-four months of capacity, no-show and revenue measured per unit: the series a forecast is built on, if the network wants one. We are still there: the system has grown with the operation instead of being replaced by it.
